Your insights are built from your own applications, so they need your account. Nothing is estimated and nothing is shared with employers.

How your application insights are calculated

Every number on this page comes from your own data on Expertini Bornheim — nothing is estimated, and nobody else's results are mixed in. Four sources can be counted, and you can untick any of them:

  • Applied on Expertini — jobs you applied to through this site. The employer's decision (waiting, shortlisted, rejected…) is what the employer recorded on your application. These are the jobs on your applied jobs page.
  • JobFlow board — the cards on your JobFlow board that you applied to. JobFlow keeps the date of every stage move, so it is the only source that can measure how long replies take.
  • Application planner — applications in your planner that are past “planning to apply”. Only their current status is known. An application you copied from the planner to JobFlow is counted once, from JobFlow.
  • External applications — times you pressed an employer's own “External Application” button on a job. Expertini does not see what happens next on the employer's site, so these count as applications but are left out of the funnel and the response rate.

What the numbers mean

Response rate = applications that got any reply (shortlisted, an interview, an offer or a rejection) ÷ applications whose outcome can be tracked. A rejection counts as a reply. Interviews and offers count applications that reached that stage or a later one, even if they were later closed. Average time to first reply is measured from the applied date to the first reply on your JobFlow cards. The period filter uses the date you applied (or, if that is missing, the date the application was added).

Why is my response rate “–”?

It needs at least one application whose outcome can be tracked — one made on Expertini, or one on your JobFlow board or planner. External applications alone cannot give a response rate.

The same job is in two places — is it counted twice?

An application copied from the planner to JobFlow is counted once. A job you applied to on Expertini and also added to JobFlow by hand cannot be matched safely, so it is counted in both; untick one source if you track everything in one place.

Can employers see these insights?

No. Only you can see this page. Employers only ever see the applications you send them.

Does it cost anything?

No. Application insights are free on every plan.
